Description

From 'Devil's Trill' to Beatles music with Stefan Milenković. Muzikon orchestra and Stefan Milenković invite you to come to the Botanical Garden on 24.05.2024 at 8 p.m. for the concert 'Spring'. The audience will have the opportunity to hear the Sonata for Violin in G minor, better known as the 'Devil's Trill' (G. Tartini), as well as the suite 'Beatles Go Baroque' in the style of G. F. Handel (P. Breiner) performed by the chamber orchestra Muzikon, the violin virtuoso and guest soloist Stefan Milenković in the most beautiful oasis of the city of Belgrade. With the concert 'Spring', the Muzikon orchestra opens its alternative concert season 'Four Seasons', which is designed as a combination of traditional and contemporary 'atypical' performances of classical music in different spaces. Through programs, arrangements, and locations, Muzikon will present concerts that embody the 'characters of the seasons' and ideas about performing classical music in the 21st century. Some of the concerts are in classical form with a focus on perfecting performances and collaborating with guest soloists - top experts from the industry, while other concerts are experimental in terms of compositional genre and provide the audience with a new perspective from which to view classical music. Violinist Stefan Milenković is known worldwide for his exceptional artistic abilities, but also for his dedication to humanitarianism. He became famous when he was ten years old and was invited to perform in front of former US President Ronald Reagan at the White House during a Christmas show program. After this performance, he was invited by former Russian President Mikhail Gorbatsov. He has performed twice in front of Pope John Paul II. His international performances include collaborations with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.
