Salsa Nights in Belgrade

Ada Mall, Belgrade
Saturday, July 27th
18:00 – 21:00

For dance lovers, Salsa nights are starting in Belgrade, which will be organized during the summer of 2024 on the terrace of the CineStar cinema (Ada Mall, 4th floor – Rooftop).

The first Salsa night with a 'Summer vibe' is scheduled for May 24th at 8:00 PM, where visitors can expect the rhythm and passion of Cuban music, whether they are beginners or experienced dancers. A special attraction is the fact that dancing will take place under the open sky, with one of the most beautiful views of the city.

After the opening, Salsa nights will be held during the summer on Saturdays, from 8:00 PM to midnight: June 15, 22, and 29, then July 6, 13, 20, and 27.

The entrance fee is paid at the cinema box office, on the day of the event, and amounts to 400 dinars, including one drink from the bar's offer. Visitors to the CineStar cinema who purchase a ticket for any movie that day have free access to the Salsa night.

Salsa is a famous type of dance originating from Cuba, which has spread to Puerto Rico and other Caribbean countries. It was named after the Spanish word 'salsa,' which means 'sauce.' This suggests that this dance is a fusion of various influences. Salsa is originally a Cuban dance with African-Cuban rhythms and the influence of rumba. It is popular in Latin America, the USA, and Europe. There are many styles of salsa because improvisation is allowed, so the dance continues to evolve.
