Kaliopi is the biggest Macedonian pop-rock star and one of the greatest and most original vocalists in the Balkans. In her long and fruitful career complemented by her unique vocal tone, powerful interpretation, and as the author of numerous hits for herself and other singers, Kaliopi has set high standards and left a lasting mark in music, becoming a favorite of her people and a Balkan music diva.

She started with music at the age of 9, winning first place at the then largest children's festival. Her initial success and popularity in the former Yugoslavia began with the group 'Kaliopi,' founded by her producer and author Romeo Grill. In 1999, Kaliopi started her solo career with the album 'Oboi me,' a collaborative work with Romeo Grill, with whom she still collaborates today. Throughout her career, she has released 15 albums and numerous singles, held many concerts, performed in all major concert halls in the Ex-Yugoslavia region and beyond in venues in Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne, London, Amsterdam, Moscow, Madrid, Munich, Baku, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Minsk, Tirana, etc., participated in major festivals, and garnered numerous awards and recognitions. Invited by the Macedonian Radio Television, she represented North Macedonia at Eurovision twice, with the song 'Crno i belo' becoming a global hit.

In addition to her decades-long dedication to pop-rock music, Kaliopi, as a singer and author, has collaborated on various other projects, reflecting her artistic versatility and inspiration. She has composed music for film, theater, and ballet, acted in the first Macedonian musical 'Čija si', participated in several ethno-jazz projects with the Tavitjan Brothers, and one of the most significant collaborations is with Edin Karamazov, with whom she recorded the album 'Oblivion,' a result of the exceptional cohesion of their musical expressions. Later, at Karamazov's invitation, she appeared on his album 'The Lute is a Song' alongside names like Sting, Renée Fleming, and Andreas Scholl.

Kaliopi has been named an honorary UNHCR ambassador in North Macedonia, an honorary artistic ambassador of the Macedonian economy worldwide, and in addition to numerous awards and honors, she has received the 'Mother Teresa' statue for her outstanding and dedicated humanitarian work.
