Novi Sad Film Festival

The Novi Sad Film Festival is an international competitive festival of feature films in Novi Sad. The five-day festival takes place at locations in the heart of the city and brings current film achievements of directors to the audience, with four competitive and six review film selections, panel discussions on the future of the seventh art and new technologies, an industry program that builds a significant space for future production and co-production development, with accompanying music program and guest appearances by some iconic names from the film industry. With the aim of positioning itself as a new symbol of Novi Sad, the festival is focused on national and international cinema. This gives the Novi Sad audience and filmmakers an insight into world production, while also creating an environment for presenting Novi Sad and national film to the world. This fosters awareness for future developments, as well as professionalism for Novi Sad and domestic filmmakers, and a wider audience about film culture, while following the rich film history that Novi Sad possesses, affirming Novi Sad as a 'film-friendly' environment.
