Novi Sad Film Festival

The Novi Sad Film Festival is an international competitive festival of feature films in Novi Sad. The five-day festival takes place at locations in the heart of the city and brings current film achievements of directors to the audience, with four competitive and six revue film selections, panel discussions on the future of the seventh art and new technologies, an emphasized industry program which builds a significant space for future production and co-production development, along with accompanying music program and guest appearances of some iconic figures from the world of the film industry. Aiming to position itself as a new symbol of Novi Sad, the festival is focused on national and international cinema. In this way, the Novi Sad audience and film creators are provided with insight into world productions, while at the same time creating an ambiance for presenting Novi Sad and national cinema to the world. This develops awareness of future potentials, as well as professionalism for both Novi Sad and domestic cineastes as well as the broader audience about film culture, while on the track of its rich film history, Novi Sad affirms itself as a "film-friendly" environment.
