Description

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., the exhibition 'Transpersonal Fields' by the painter Dragan Zdravković will open at the Zepter Museum. This marks his 25th solo exhibition.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalog featuring a text authored by art historian Danijela Purešević. In her text, she emphasizes that through his long-developed painting technique, Zdravković has provided his visions with the freedom (transpersonal) to move and permeate through space, time, and various materials of different consistencies.

The exhibition will showcase canvases dating from 2020 to the present.

The exhibition will be open to the public until September 8, 2024, at the Zepter Museum, located at 42 Knez Mihailova Street, from Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Dragan Zdravković was born in Belgrade in 1969. He graduated and obtained his master's degree from the painting department of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. He earned his doctorate at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts under the mentorship of academician Vladimir Veličković. Since 2014, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, teaching Drawing and Painting. He represented Serbia at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017 with the artistic project 'Enclave' (with Milena Dragičević and Vladislav Šćepanović). His works are part of several museum and foundation collections, as well as numerous private collections.
