Open rehearsals for children at the Belgrade Philharmonic

Open rehearsals are one of the most prominent projects of the institution in the public eye. This form of interactive educational approach is intended for children of preschool and early school age. The main contributors are musicians from the Belgrade Philharmonic, who, in a way adapted to the age group, introduce the little ones to the world of classical music.

The workshops consist of three parts: introductory presentation of instruments, instrument rehearsal, and attendance at the regular orchestra rehearsal, where children get acquainted with the full symphonic sound during a fifteen-minute stay.

The presentation is adapted to the age of the children, so the youngest are primarily approached through play, while a story with more educational elements is prepared for school children.

The dynamics of conducting Open Rehearsals is once a month during the regular season.

The program starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 10:15 a.m. Applications for groups of up to 30 children are accepted via email at [email protected].
