Mr. R lives in West Germany in the early seventies. He has a family he loves, a job he cares about, his own apartment, and his TV that he often watches. He listens to news about great successes and encouraging words from politicians on it every day. His home is visited by friends and relatives. Mr. R has ambitions he nurtures, worries that trouble him, and memories he cherishes. He has good health and a fulfilling love life. However, one day, Mr. R suddenly...Why did Mr. R go mad? And why do we, who do not live in West Germany in the early seventies, understand him so well?At the Yugoslav Theatre Festival in Užice, the Ardalion award was given to: the play as a whole, Bobo JelÄiÄ for directing, and Boris IsakoviÄ for the best male role. The play participated in the International Comedy Festival "Mostarska liska" in Mostar and at the One-Act Play Festival in Mladenovac.The whole ensemble of the play shone, with particularly good performances by Boris IsakoviÄ in the title role of Mr. R and NataÅ”a TapuÅ”koviÄ as Mrs. R.
