❗On Monday, December 23 at 7 p.m., the Exhibition of Small Graphic Works First 75 opens at the Graphic Collective Gallery, featuring the awarding of the Small Seal prize for the best achievement in the field of small format graphics. In the year of its jubilee, the 75th birthday, this Collective continues part of its program under the theme Tradition for the Future. Since the founding members of the Graphic Collective in the 1950s, they held sales exhibitions of graphics during the New Year holidays to mitigate the dominance of stereotypical kitsch versions of greetings from housewives and chimney sweeps in the market. The idea of artists gathered around the Graphic Collective (and their continuity) that original artistic works enter every home and as a suitable gift animate, delight, educate, and cultivate new audiences, follows the eighth decade with new editions of the Small Graphic Form exhibitions. Over time, this chamber exhibition has become, alongside the May Exhibition, a significant point for presenting the real scope of contemporary graphic production and an opportunity for its critical examination. The exhibition's title text: 'For your home and those you love in the new millennium. Because graphics are also a school of art/life but also a fluid space of spirit sheltered from the hustle of busy times,' touches on the identity and conceptual concept of this work.

The atmosphere of the new edition of the Small Graphic Exhibition also reflects a high concentration of manuscripts of various poetic backgrounds; alongside the bards of our contemporary scene (born in 1949) maintaining the tension of the exhibition, new original features of the young (born in the new millennium) certainly renew its creative vitality. The youngest participants' aphorisms are also in the catalog, and one of the entries: 'An artist's (small) world is much larger than the edges of that paper,' testifies to the creative essence of the idea.
