Jazz for J: Sofija Ćirović Quartet

The twelfth cycle of concerts 'Jazz for J' will open on September 7 with the Sofija Ćirović Quartet, a talented vocalist and student at the Department of Jazz and Popular Music at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

Sofija Ćirović (25) has shown exceptional vocal talent since childhood and is now a successful jazz singing student at the Department of Jazz and Popular Music at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

She has performed at various festivals, including the international jazz festival 'Bazzum', as well as at the annual concerts of the Faculty of Music at Kolarac and in the Youth Center of Belgrade.

As part of the concert series 'Jazz for J', she will perform with her quartet, consisting of experienced musicians: Vladan Veljković (keyboards), Milan Nikolić (double bass), and Nikola Radojičić (drums), who have years of experience in playing, performing, and composing. The quartet will perform popular jazz standards in their own arrangements, as well as several original compositions.
