Salsa Evenings in Belgrade

Saturday, July 13th

18:00 – 21:00

For dance enthusiasts, salsa evenings are starting in Belgrade, which will be organized during the summer of 2024 on the terrace of the CineStar cinema (Ada Mall, 4th floor – Rooftop).

The first Salsa night with a 'Summer vibe' is scheduled for May 24th at 8:00 p.m., when visitors can expect the rhythm and passion of Cuban music, whether they are beginners or experienced dancers. A special attraction is the fact that the dancing will take place under the open sky, with one of the most beautiful views of the city.

After the opening, salsa evenings will be held on Saturdays throughout the summer, from 8:00 p.m. to midnight: June 15, 22, and 29, then July 6, 13, 20, and 27.

The entrance fee is paid at the cinema box office on the day of the event and amounts to 400 dinars, which includes one drink from the bar's offer. Visitors to the CineStar cinema who purchase a ticket for any film that day have free admission to the Salsa evening.

Salsa is a famous dance originating from Cuba, which spread to Puerto Rico and other Caribbean countries. It got its name from the Spanish word 'salsa,' which means 'sauce.' This implies that this dance is a mix of various influences. Salsa is originally a Cuban dance with Afro-Cuban rhythms and the influence of rumba. It is popular in Latin America, the USA, and Europe. There are many styles of salsa because improvisation is allowed, so the dance continues to evolve.
