Today, Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota are rightfully considered icons of world film music. In an event dedicated to their work, the most important stages of the careers of these two composers will be presented, from cult songs of the sixties to melodies written for Sergio Leone's films and created for Hollywood.

Performers:

Marcello Rota: He debuted with the RAI Symphony Orchestra in Turin and has since worked in prestigious concert halls across Europe, conducting renowned world orchestras. Marcello Rota has worked at La Scala for several seasons and has been the principal guest conductor of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra since 2004.

Suzana Rigachi: A Swedish singer of Italian origin, she gained worldwide fame for vocal accompaniment in Morricone's music in Sergio Leone's films The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, A Fistful of Dynamite, and more.

Concert with a theatrical soul: The program will not only allow you to hear the works of these master composers live but also take a unique emotional journey through Rota and Morricone's creativity, where eternal themes intertwine with the inner world of the creators. The project's conceptual inspirer was Marcello Rota, a globally famous conductor. The film music will be performed by historical Italian and world cinema figures: Nelo Salza (trumpet), Ludovico Fulci (piano), and Suzana Rigachi (soprano). Under the flawless direction of Maestro Morricone, they have held over 500 concerts worldwide.
