Exhibition "Towards the Olympic Games"
Description
On Wednesday, July 24 at 8 PM at the Museum of Vojvodina (Danube 35), a suitable exhibition Towards the Olympic Games will be opened. The exhibition's authors are Ljiljana Kostic, senior curator and historian, and Marko Usćebrka, curator historian.
At the opening of the exhibition, the acting director of the Museum of Vojvodina, Charna Milinković, will address the attendees, and the exhibition will be opened by Mrs. Maja Gojković, the president of the Provincial Government.
The exhibition Towards the Olympic Games presents a brief history of the Olympic Games, which are the pinnacle of all sports events, from the revival - 1896, until today.
At the exhibition, visitors will be able to see memorabilia related to the Olympic Games and Olympic sports, the Olympic flame, posters, documents... which are kept in the Sports Collection of the Museum of Vojvodina. Also, personal items of our athletes, Olympic medalists - Tadija Kačar, Vasa Mijić, and Aranka Binder, will be exhibited.
