Is unmasking the only solution or a path of no return? The play is a comedy, in which 8 women equally participate, who are locked in a cottage for Christmas Eve. On that day, a murder occurs in the house, the only male member and head of the family, Marcel, is found killed in his room... The women realize that only one of them could be the killer... The French text Eight Women is inspired by detective novels of Agatha Christie. Emphasis is on the comedic plot and situations based on thriller postulates, which the writer achieved by playing with stereotypes, even with a misogynistic attitude towards women.
