Exhibition 'Towards the Olympic Games'

On Wednesday, July 24 at 8 pm at the Museum of Vojvodina (Danube 35), a fitting exhibition 'Towards the Olympic Games' will be opened. The authors of the exhibition are Ljiljana Kostic, senior curator historian and Marko Uscebrka, curator historian.

At the opening of the exhibition, the Acting Director of the Museum of Vojvodina, Čarna Milinković, will address the attendees, and the exhibition will be opened by Ms. Maja Gojkovic, President of the Provincial Government.

The exhibition 'Towards the Olympic Games' presents a brief history of the Olympic Games, which are the culmination of all sporting events, from the revival - 1896, to the present day.

At the exhibition, visitors will be able to see memorabilia related to the Olympic Games and Olympic sports, the Olympic torch, posters, documents... preserved in the Sports Collection of the Museum of Vojvodina. Personal items of our athletes, Olympic medalists – Tadija Kacar, Vasa Mijic, and Aranka Binder will also be exhibited.
