Renewing Meaning ▪︎ Šejma Fere, Saša Stojanović and Marija Tasić

Believing that artists and scientists must be some kind of constructive rebels searching for alternatives to the dominant order, this exhibition by Šejma Fere, Saša Stojanović, and Marija Tasić aims to rethink possible strategies of resistance in current conditions of uncertainty and insecurity, and to critically explore knowledge production processes and the transformative power of art. The gallery space ceases to be a mere place of representation and becomes an environment resembling a laboratory or classroom, where mediation is simultaneously carried out by both the authors and visitors.

The focal point of the dialogue, or the meeting point of these three authors, is the current ecological problems, which are a direct consequence of capitalist production. Therefore, Renewing Meaning emphasizes a return to basic humanity through encounters, collective experiments, mutual education, and socializing.
