Description
Scenic easy trek
Southern Kučaj is a ridge in eastern Serbia, part of the Carpathian Mountains. This mountain range is rich in springs and deciduous forests, the most common of which are maples and ashes; there are also many beautiful mountain peaks, among which Maple Peak (Javorački vrh, 927 m) dominates the massif. The stream Grza has its source at the foot of the Southern Kučaj.
We will walk through these beautiful forests, visit several viewpoints and reach the Grza spring — a natural monument of extraordinary beauty, as well as the river that forms two crystalline, blue-green ponds here.
