Dunav - Film Screening

The Dunav is a story of the encounter of two worlds and two cultures. Moscow native Nadja is tired of work and decides to travel to Belgrade to rest, relax, and spend some time alone. However, this decision brings a new person into her life, Neša, a street juggler. Thus begins their romance. Dunav is a film journey, a party film through which viewers fly through the streets of Belgrade following the main heroine and ponder what freedom actually is and whether it is attainable.

The Dunav was shot even before the wave of Russian emigration of 2022-2023 reached Serbia, in 2020, when locals still perceived Russians as an unusual phenomenon.

After the screening, director Ljuba Mulmenko will talk about the work on the film and answer audience questions.
