Exhibition 'Towards the Olympic Games'

On Wednesday, July 24th at 8 PM at the Vojvodina Museum (Danube 35), a suitable exhibition 'Towards the Olympic Games' will be opened. The authors of the exhibition are Ljiljana Kostić, senior curator-historian, and Marko Ušćebrika, curator-historian.

At the opening of the exhibition, the acting director of the Vojvodina Museum, Čarna Milinković, will address the attendees, and the exhibition will be opened by Mrs. Maja Gojković, President of the Provincial Government.

The exhibition 'Towards the Olympic Games' presents a brief history of the Olympic Games, which are the culmination of all sporting events, from the revival - 1896, to today.

At the exhibition, visitors will be able to see memorabilia related to the Olympic Games and Olympic sports, the Olympic torch, posters, documents... preserved in the Sports Collection of the Vojvodina Museum. Also, personal items of our athletes, Olympic medalists - Tadija Kačar, Vasa Mijić, and Aranka Binder, will be exhibited.
