About the creator:

Valeria is currently preparing a comprehensive course for teenagers about fashion, contemporary art and creating new things from old ones, with an emphasis on creating a safe and free space for creativity.

The main thing — don’t be afraid to be weird!

Alter Ego Lab is a masterclass held in anticipation of the main course and follows the same concept; it is an opportunity for the instructor and participants to test the idea.

What to expect at the masterclass:

• Introductions;
• Creating your own character and their moodboard collage;
• Working with materials, textures and colors;
• Making an attribute or wardrobe element for the character;
• Discussing participants’ ideas, help with implementation, support from a professional artist and designer, with a creative approach and without judgment;
• Socializing;
• Photos of the works taken with a film camera.

Materials are provided, but if you have any old clothes you’d like to give a new life to, it would be great to bring them with you!
