Architecture of Life — Strategic Thinking in Life
Description
Auditoria Belgrade
“Architecture of Life” — a series of lectures and practices
Sometimes life feels like a house building itself: everything seems to be there, but there is no support, integrity, or understanding of what holds it together. The to-do list grows faster than the results. Focus and energy appear and disappear. Even simple decisions start to cause doubt… And at some point the question arises: “Am I living the right life?”. Sound familiar?
“Architecture of Life” is a series of meetings where you will create the blueprint for your sustainable, fulfilled life — taking into account resources, constraints, and reality.
The series consists of 4 practice-oriented sessions:
- The science of attention and concentration (May 10)
- Strategic thinking in life (May 17)
- Beliefs and finances (May 25)
- Practice: the Blueprint of your life (May 31)
Each meeting is not only theory but also work with workbooks, exercises, and application to your own life.
Series leaders:
- 🗣 Veronika Slavina — ICF coach in personal effectiveness, runs trainings for over 5 years, background in engineering. Works with procrastination, burnout, and systematic goal achievement
- 🗣 Veronika Sorin — psychologist, life strategist, founder of Mental Health Club. Works based on the neurophysiology of behavior within the CBT approach
The first meeting — May 10: The science of attention and concentration
You can open your phone “for a minute” and lose 40. You can sit down for an important task and after 7 minutes be thinking about something else.
In the architecture of life, attention is the foundation. And when that foundation becomes unstable, procrastination, distractibility, and a feeling of loss of control appear.
At this meeting we will discuss:
- the neurobiology of attention,
- analyze procrastination not as a discipline problem but as an emotional reaction,
- and also consider the concept of GOMO — the mindful skill of letting go of opportunities for intentional growth.
A separate part will be a values practice — to see where your focus is really directed and whether that choice was yours.
After this meeting you will have:
- ➡️ an understanding of how to maintain attentional focus,
- ➡️ clarity about what triggers postponement and how to influence it,
- ➡️ and a defined priority direction for the next 7 days.
