Astronomy Weekend

On July 4 and 5 the Ruđer Bošković Astronomical Society invites you to an astronomy weekend.🔭✨

The two-day program includes popular science lectures, guided tours and night sky observations.
On Saturday the events will take place at the Belgrade Planetarium at Kalemegdan. There will be two lecture sessions covering different branches of astronomy: the first will start at 12:00 PM and the second at 4:00 PM. After they finish, at 7:30 PM there will be a full-dome planetarium projection screening for guests, and at 8:30 PM night sky observations through a telescope will begin on the open terrace of the People’s Observatory.
On Sunday the program continues at the Astronomical Observatory at Volgina 7. After the daytime lecture cycle, anyone interested will be able to tour the historic pavilions and scientific halls of the complex accompanied by a professional guide.
Admission to all events is free and advance registration is not required; however, seating capacity in the halls is physically limited — come early.😉👌
