Astronomy Weekend

On July 4 and 5 the Ruđer Bošković Astronomical Society invites you to an astronomy weekend.🔭✨

The two-day program includes popular science lectures, guided tours and nightly star observations.
On Saturday events will take place at the Belgrade Planetarium in Kalemegdan. Two lecture sessions covering different areas of astronomy will be organized here: the first starts at 12:00, and the second at 16:00. After they finish, at 19:30 there will be a full-dome planetarium projection for guests, and at 20:30 night-sky observations through a telescope will begin on the open terrace of the Public Observatory.
On Sunday the program continues at the Astronomical Observatory at Volgina 7. After the daytime lecture cycle, anyone interested will be able to tour the historic pavilions and scientific halls of the complex accompanied by a professional guide.
Admission to all events is free and no prior registration is required; however, seating in the halls is physically limited — please come early.😉👌
