Four bands, heavy riffs and a Friday the 13th at Sprat. AVOIDFEST brings together KALI JUGA, GREENBIRDS, VOIDSTOUT and DJIRIKA for a night of stoner, doom, sludge and psychedelic rock.
KALI JUGA
A stoner/doom band from Belgrade whose debut album, Smrt Svetu, came out in 2025. Musicians from Kobold, Terrorhammer and other bands from the regional scene took part in recording its eight tracks. The release was followed by shows across Serbia, Romania, North Macedonia and Malta, where they played REEFER FEST alongside Dopelord.
GREENBIRDS
A stoner trio from Novi Sad, previously known as Northern Revival. Active since 2012, the band has released two albums and two EPs and shared stages with 1000mods, Greenleaf, Dopethrone and Bongzilla. In spring 2025, they became a trio, with the founding guitarist taking over lead vocals. Their sound combines heavy riffs and a solid groove with melodic singing.
VOIDSTOUT
A new stoner band from Belgrade with heavy riffs, a thick sound and hypnotic vibes. Fuzz-heavy guitars, bass and drums lock into grooves that give the music its weight and drive. Their live sets leave room to jam within the songs, with parts expanding and taking new directions. Music is created right on stage, making every performance unique and unpredictable.
DJIRIKA
A band blending psychedelic rock and stoner with Balkan folk music. Violin and two vocalists join guitars, bass and drums, with original songs in Serbian and English. What began as a collaboration between Nikola Ćurčić and Milica Antonić has grown into a five-piece band. They took third place at the 2024 Bunt Rock Festival and have performed at EXIT, Belgrade Beer Fest and Ljubljana’s Kavč Festival.
