Concert series program 'Jazz for DŽ' on September 21st will be an opportunity for a wider audience to get acquainted with the work of Jevrem Ćosić, a successful young jazz guitarist. He will perform in his original trio lineup that brings a fusion of jazz and modern groove.
Jevrem Ćosić (24) completed his master's studies in Belgrade, in the class of Vanja Kevrešan. He has been a member of the RTS Big Band for several years and has had the opportunity to participate in projects with Vladimir Nikolov, Stjepko Gut, Jan Van Dujkeren, Klaus Rajble, Samuel Bleizer, and other jazz musicians.
A few years ago, Ćosić launched his original trio project, with which he often performs in jazz clubs in Belgrade (Blues and Beer, Telma), and they also performed at the Nišville Jazz Festival in 2017 and 2018. With the band, consisting of Luka Malko (bass) and Aleksa Milijanović (drums), Jevrem is currently working on preparing the first album of original music.
