Belgrade — the city where I create
Description
Belgrade — the city where I create
On Monday, a group art exhibition "Belgrade — the city where I create" will open at Princess Ljubica's Palace.🎨
This large-scale project is organized by Marina Mone's art studio in cooperation with the Applied Arts Association ULUPUDS and has been a traditional annual event since 2014. The main goal of the project is to bring together on one platform both established artists and very young creators taking their first steps in art. According to the authors, Belgrade in the context of this exhibition is regarded not simply as a geographic point, but as a shared space for inspiration. Artists are not required to depict recognizable city streets or architectural landmarks — through their works they convey personal associations, thoughts and emotions that the capital evokes in them. Each year the project presents works by more than a hundred participants, creating a detailed portrait of the country's contemporary art scene.🎨
The exhibition runs until August 16.
