City of the Sun make music that needs no vocals to speak directly. Built around acoustic guitars, rhythmic intensity, and cinematic arrangements, their sound moves freely between indie rock, American folk, flamenco, and blues — intimate in detail but crafted for big emotional climaxes.
Formed in 2011, City of the Sun have built their audience through touring and busking, bringing their music directly to listeners. Their shows carry the same physical, spontaneous energy: intricate guitar parts, restless percussion, and melodies that gradually unfold into wide, immersive climaxes.
