"CHILDREN'S SUMMER GAMES" BEGIN IN TOPČIDER PARK

The Savski Venac City Municipality is organizing the traditional "Children's Summer Games" again this summer, which will be officially opened on Saturday, 1 August at 5:00 PM in front of the Konak of Prince Miloš in Topčider Park.
The event, which has been held for almost a decade thanks to the great interest of citizens, will during August every weekend — Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM — turn Topčider Park into a place for play, socializing and quality time for all generations.
"Children's Summer Games" are not intended only for the youngest. The program is designed so that children, parents, grandparents and all visitors who want to spend summer weekends outdoors can enjoy it together, offering rich cultural-artistic, educational and entertaining content.
The president of the Savski Venac City Municipality, Miloš Vidović, pointed out that over the past decade this event has become one of the favorite summer gatherings for families.
"When we started the 'Children's Summer Games' almost ten years ago, we wanted to create a space where children would have the opportunity during the holidays to socialize, play and develop through quality content, while parents and whole families could spend time together in one of Belgrade's most beautiful parks. The great interest from citizens has shown us that we succeeded, which is why we are organizing this event again with great pleasure this year. I invite all Belgraders, as well as visitors to our city, to join us and enjoy the program we have prepared for all generations," Vidović said.
During the event, visitors can expect children's plays, interactive dance and sports workshops, performances by clowns and magicians, face painting, meet-and-greets with mascots and entertainers, creative activities and many other programs aimed at children of different ages.
Admission and participation in all programs are free.
The Savski Venac City Municipality organizes the "Children's Summer Games" with the aim of providing families with a high-quality, substantive and entertaining program during the summer holidays, encouraging shared free time, play, creativity and outdoor activities.
