THE "Dečje letnje igre" BEGIN IN TOPČIDER PARK

The City Municipality of Savski Venac is organizing the traditional "Dečje letnje igre" again this summer; the event will be ceremonially opened on Saturday, 1 August at 5:00 PM in front of the Konak of Prince Miloš in Topčider Park.

Thanks to strong public interest, the event — organized for almost ten consecutive years — will, throughout August, turn Topčider Park into a place of play, socializing and quality leisure for all ages every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM).

"Dečje letnje igre" are not intended only for the youngest. The program is designed so that children, parents, grandparents and all visitors who want to spend summer weekends outdoors can enjoy it together, with a rich cultural-artistic, educational and entertaining program.

The President of the City Municipality of Savski Venac, Miloš Vidović, emphasized that over the past decade this event has become one of the favorite summer gatherings for families.

"When we launched 'Dečje letnje igre' almost ten years ago, we wanted to create a space where children could socialize, play and develop through quality activities during the summer break, while parents and whole families could spend time together in one of Belgrade's most beautiful parks. The great interest shown by citizens has proven that we succeeded, which is why we are very pleased to organize this event again this year. I invite all Belgraders, as well as visitors to our city, to join us and enjoy the program we have prepared for all generations," said Vidović.

Visitors can expect children's plays, interactive dance and sports workshops, clown and magician performances, face painting, meeting mascots and animators, creative activities and many other programs aimed at children of different ages.

Admission and participation in all programs are free.

The Municipality of Savski Venac organizes "Dečje letnje igre" with the aim of providing families with a high-quality, engaging and entertaining program during the summer break, encouraging shared leisure time, play, creativity and outdoor activities.
