Deep Cuts
Description
Exhibition "Deep Cuts" by Katarina Jovičić and Olga Đelošević
It will be open on July 3 at the Kula Gallery, located at 15 Cetinjska Street.
Everyday objects and universal human experiences, inseparable like pain and joy, destruction and vulnerability, are at the core of the interests of artists Olga Đelošević and Katarina Jovičić. Motifs of thorns, chains, fire, or shattered glass are nothing more than a kind of allegory of the fragility of our existence, among other things defined by ruptures, failures, and an emotional rollercoaster. A different approach and the materials used by the artists, in digital prints and textile sculptures that make up this exhibition, provide the observer with insight into what happens behind our facades - a cacophony of everything, perfect and imperfect - which shapes our experience.
