Description
Tasting Serbian rosé and orange wines
If you put a glass of rosé and orange wine next to each other, they can sometimes look almost identical. But in the glass, they are two completely different worlds.
On March 21, we will meet for a tasting of Serbian rosé and orange wines to understand how they differ and how these styles are created.
Orange wines can have many shades, from golden to rich amber, while rosé varies from almost transparent salmon to a brighter pink. But the main difference is not only in color, but also in the production technology, structure, and character of the wine.
We will taste 6 Serbian wines — 3 rosé and 3 orange — to understand:
- ✔️ how rosé and orange wines are made
- ✔️ why orange wines have a more structured and tannic character
- ✔️ what color shades and aromas can be found in these styles
- ✔️ how to choose such wines correctly
This tasting is for those who want to understand wine, rather than just focus on the color in the glass.
