Open rehearsals for children at the Belgrade Philharmonic

Open rehearsals for children at the Belgrade Philharmonic
Open rehearsals are one of the most prominent projects of the institution in the public eye. This form of interactive educational approach is intended for children of preschool and younger school age. The main performers are musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic, who, in a way adapted to the age, introduce children to the world of classical music.
The workshops consist of three parts: an introductory presentation of instruments, instrument rehearsals, and attendance at the regular orchestra rehearsal, where, during fifteen minutes, children get acquainted with the full symphonic sound.
The presentation is adapted to the children's age, so the youngest are primarily approached through play, while a story with more educational elements is prepared for school children.
The dynamics of holding Open rehearsals is once a month during the regular season.
