Organized by the Department for Dialogue in the Public Sphere of the Missionary Department of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci and Doma omladine Beograda, a discussion panel will be held on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of Nikola Tesla's birth.

Panel discussion: Nikola Tesla – Facts and Interpretations, Controversies and Unknowns

It is devoted to one of the most significant, but also most frequently mythologized figures in the history of science and technology. Through a conversation among distinguished experts on Nikola Tesla's life and work, the panel will examine reliable facts about his life and achievements, various interpretations of his scientific ideas and worldview, as well as controversies and questions that remain open to this day. The aim of the panel is to offer, between historical facts and later-created myths, as complete and well-founded a picture as possible of Nikola Tesla — scientist, inventor, and man.
