On New Year's Eve, two men: emigrants or immigrants, prisoners or asylum seekers, refugees or vagabonds. It doesn't matter. There and here, with them and with us, then and now. It's all the same: as Jean-Paul Sartre would say - HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE. Is there a way out? If existence is a precursor to essence, then there is no way out for Assange, nor for Mrožek's sad clowns. If essence ever surpasses existence, we will be able to, at least at a symbolic level, somehow reluctantly accept the misery and poverty of human destiny in the dialectical dispute of freedom and necessity.
