Exhibition of Moomin Characters

And this week, the Embassy of Finland and the Belgrade Library are opening an exhibition for fans of the Moomin trolls ❤️

Even if you don’t know any of the Moomin trolls (muмијеви in Serbian), their popularity has surely touched you in some way: you may have heard the names of the characters or seen them online or in a bookstore. And these cute creatures of the great Tove Jansson are already 80!

In honor of this event, a themed exhibition is opening at the Belgrade Library (and you definitely walked past it).

Usually, Moomin Day is celebrated on August 9, on the birthday of Tove Jansson herself. But this year, the residents of Belgrade can start celebrating much earlier 🙃
