Celebration of Chinese New Year in the sign of the snake with a Gala concert of Opera from Hong Kong. Opera & Ballet Nights presents a special edition on the occasion of the arrival of the lunar 2025. In honor of the Chinese New Year, MTS Arena will host a ceremonial Gala concert on February 9, 2025, starting at 8:00 p.m., featuring renowned soloists from the Opera of Hong Kong. The repertoire will include some of the most famous opera arias, as well as selected Chinese compositions that further celebrate the arrival of the new lunar year. Among the performers are: Bing Bing Wang 王冰冰, a soprano who recently performed alongside the legendary Plácido Domingo. Warren Mok 莫華倫博士, the celebrated Chinese tenor and director of the Opera Hong Kong. ORGANIZER/SOURCE: OPERA MUSIC PRODUCTION
