Fruška Gora Hiking Marathon

The Fruška Gora Hiking Marathon is a sports competitive-recreational event of international character. It is one of the oldest marathons of this type in Europe, which has been held continuously for over four decades.

About the Marathon

There are 15 trails of different lengths and different altitudinal differences at the marathon. All of them are traced in the hilly, forested belt of Fruška Gora (97% forest, 3% urban environment), which is only 10 kilometers away from Novi Sad.

Five trails are certified by the International Trail Running Association (ITRA) and UTMB and are of competitive nature.
The remaining ten trails are recreational in character and aim to promote a healthy lifestyle, nature conservation, as well as cultural and historical heritage.
There is a special Joy and Pleasure Trail for preschool children.

This sports-recreational event gathers tens of thousands of competitors and recreationalists every year.
