On tour: Urbanite Theatre from Tbilisi.
The play is performed in Russian with English subtitles.
“High Water” is a comedy about those who once dared to leave everything familiar behind and venture into the unknown.
Tired of the daily grind, two friends, Sanya and Pasha, set off on a boat journey. Along their way, they encounter unexpected meetings, temptations, and the questions we all eventually have to ask ourselves: Who am I? What do I need? And where do I sail when there are no shores left?
The play “High Water” was shortlisted for the Lyubimovka-2023 drama festival and has had readings in Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Finland, France, and the USA. It was also featured as a staged reading in the “Lyubimovka.Podcast” project.
Urbanite Theatre is a Russian-language theatrical project based in Tbilisi.
