In the very heart of Dorćol, on Kralja Petra Street — one of the oldest and most significant streets of old Belgrade — a special experience is created that connects art, history, emotion and making.

Glass Fusion Experience is not a typical workshop. It is an authentic way to experience Belgrade through the art of glass, designed for everyone who wants to take home more than a photo or a souvenir — a keepsake they made themselves.

About the workshop

In the pleasant atmosphere of the gallery Green Door, participants will be introduced to the basics of glass fusing, a unique artistic technique where layers of glass and color are fused together under high temperatures to become an unrepeatable work of art.

Under the expert guidance of artist Ana Belanović, participants will hear the story of glass, light and the transformation of material through fire, learn the basics of cutting and arranging glass, work with colored glass and pigments, and create their own unique piece.

Each participant makes a one-of-a-kind object that becomes a lasting memento of their time in Belgrade and Serbia.

After the workshop, the pieces are fired in a professional glass fusion kiln, and finished works can be collected at the gallery within two days.

• Individual guidance through the creative process
• Creation of a unique glass piece
• Professional firing of the piece in a glass fusion kiln
