🎃Halloween at the Auditorium, or the Day When You Can Be Anyone You Want

Once a year, you can legally stop being a decent person and transform into a witch, a vampire, or something that doesn’t have a name yet. On this day, even skeptics perform a couple of rituals just in case. The main rule of Halloween is simple: stick together! That’s why we’re inviting you to spend October 31 with us at the Auditorium!

We’ll start getting ready a day early and wrap things up when all the evil spirits have gone home! On the program: pumpkins, a lecture on death dolls, spooky music, old horror movies, a workshop, karaoke, special cocktails, and mysterious predictions.

On the Program

• 2:00 PM — Creative Workshop: Carving Pumpkins 🎃
  Bring your own pumpkin and join us in creating Halloween’s main symbol.

• 3:00 PM — “What a Quiz!”: Blood-Curdling
  Let’s see who here is a true expert on the supernatural—and who just has a good memory. Register individually or as a whole team.

• 5:00 PM — Bags for Dead Souls: A Master Class in Decorating Tote Bags
  You don’t have to be an artist to draw. All you need is imagination and the desire to take home something unique. The workshop will be led by an artist. Pre-registration is required.

• 7:00 p.m. — Chasing Away Ghosts with Our Voices: A Choir Party with a Halloween Vibe
  What matters isn’t how beautiful your voice sounds, but how loudly you’re ready to make yourself heard by the world of the living and the dead. Register here.

• 7:00 PM — Lecture: “Dolls of Death: From Funeral Traditions to Halloween”
  We’ll take a look at the history of dolls and figurines associated with the memory of the dead, protective rituals, and symbolic death. We’ll explore why objects meant to protect and preserve memory eventually came to inspire fear. From ancient rituals—straight to Halloween horrors.

• 8:00 PM — Streetsurf93 spooky DJ set
  A selection of graveyard surf, requiem psychobilly, and punk horror tracks from bartender Ilya, aka DJ Streetsurf93. Sacrifices are welcome.

• 9:00 PM until closing — Karaoke from the Crypt
  It’ll be too late to be shy by then. We’ll sing our favorite songs as if the fate of the world depended on it.

Come in costume or not. You don’t have to be a witch to find yourself in good company, and there’s room in the Auditorium for both a vampire and a skeptic. And even on the scariest night of the year, let’s not be scary to each other.
