Tasting Good Wine vs Krš. June 19.
"Krš" in Serbian means something broken, unsuccessful, outright bad. People might call a car, a phone, or... wine that.
But how do you tell whether a wine is truly good and not just well marketed?
In the left corner of the ring:
- 🍷 a 350-dinar wine

In the right corner:

- 🥂 balance, structure and character
- 🥂 a bottle you won't be ashamed of
We'll stage a fair fight. At this tasting we'll judge not by price tag, label, or bloggers' recommendations, but by our own nose and palate.
Expect 4 rounds:
- ⚪ whites
- 🩷 rosés
- 🔴 reds
- ✨ sparkling
In each round you'll taste two wines of the same style. One is well made. The second is the 'krš'.
My job (sommelier, expert in Serbian wines, Nadezhda Protsenko) is to teach you to see and feel the points sommeliers around the world use to tell great wines from 'not-so-great' ones.
