Description
"Between the Lines". Paris in Sound
What remains of an era — besides dates, names and photographs?
Poems. Music. Voices.
A series of intimate literary and musical evenings "Between the Lines". This evening is dedicated to 20th-century France — a time when poetry and music changed together with Paris itself.
Program:
- French poetry performed by actress Tatyana Barnyak
- Live music: Artem Yurovsky and Aleksey Mykytenko
- Works by French composers and melodies that are essential to imagining Paris
This is neither a lecture nor a conventional concert. Spoken word and music will alternate and carry one another forward, composing the story of a single city and a single era.
