Drops of Serbia

❗️ANNOUNCEMENT. "Drops of Serbia". Blind wine battle 🍷 — 25 September. Belgrade.

I finally watched the series "Drops of God" and it made me want to show you that you can also identify wine blindfolded — without the snobbery. Let's check together how possible this is in real life 🧐

This time there won't be a standard tasting. You'll be served 6 Serbian wines, 6 grape varieties and 3 blind duels. We'll hide the bottles and labels and taste the wines in pairs:

• 🥂 Two white international varietals with different aging
• 🌿 Two white varieties (Serbian and international) of different styles
• 🍷 Two red international varieties

You'll learn, with your eyes closed, to identify:

• which variety is which
• which wine was aged in oak
• which dish each wine would pair well with

We'll also learn to estimate a wine's price by feel, and we'll also:

• answer the question — does a high price equal pleasure?
• And, finally, determine which wine will become your personal "Drop of Serbia".

And no, you won't have to guess the vineyard slope, vintage year, or the winemaker's name from the aroma of wet stone 😁

Rabbit vs. snobbery 🐇

Before each round I'll explain which cues to look for, and answer choices will already be provided. So anyone can participate at any level of knowledge.
