About the band
KAWIR are considered pioneers of the Greek black metal scene. For more than thirty years they have uncompromisingly stuck to their vision: from the legendary debut 'Προς Κάβειρους' (1997) to the latest album 'Kydoimos' (2024). Their sound is raw Hellenic black metal, and their lyrics celebrate ancient history, the ancient gods, and Greek paganism.
