Where will evolution take us?

Stanislav Drobyshevsky will discuss the evolutionary path of the human brain and how this helps (or hinders?) us in the race of evolution.

Science cannot say with certainty how the human brain will change in the future. But scientists know a great deal about how evolution occurred in the past, which means it is possible to model several scenarios with a certain degree of probability. Stanislav Drobyshevsky will discuss what possible outcomes are on the horizon.

In this lecture, we will learn:

• Is it true that the brain is far from being the leader among the body’s organs in terms of the pace of evolution?
• Will two brains develop in the head from the two hemispheres in the future?
• Could brain regression occur, and what would happen to civilization then?
• What does anthropology think about possible paths for the targeted development of the brain?
