• “Culture on the beautiful blue Danube”: from June 25 to August 27, a genuine cultural summer will take place on Площадь Галерей in Novi Sad

• “Summer at Площадь Галерей” — the annual summer cultural festival organized by three art galleries — Галерея Павла Белянского, Галерея Матицы Сербской and Галерея Райко Мамузича — forming an important cultural hub of Novi Sad.

• All cultural events within the festival take place on Площадь Галерей, as well as in their green garden-courtyards. Площадь Галерей

• The festival theme changes every summer, but is always connected with culture and the arts.

Festival theme 2026 — “Culture on the beautiful blue Danube”

• This is a series of free summer events dedicated to the cultural, artistic and natural riches of Austria. The program covers visual, musical, theatrical and film arts and introduces Austrian art through various lectures, films and concerts.

• Educational cultural events will take place throughout the summer on Thursdays at 9:00 PM (starting June 25). Admission to all events is free.

• The official opening will take place on June 25 at 9:00 PM and will begin with a performance by the music-theatre ensemble Synesthetic Project from Vienna, consisting of musicians, dancers, animators and videographers.

• 🎞️ Sleeping with the Tiger — July 2 — about the difficult path in the art world of the Austrian artist Maria Lassnig.

• 🎞️ The Dreamers — August 6 — about the love and decades-long correspondence of two outstanding Austrian poets of the 20th century, Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan.

• 🎵 As part of the concert programs, the string ensemble Dinamika Music will perform in tandem with DJs — August 13 — presenting classical music with a modern twist.

• 🎵 Dance club Fiesta — August 27 with a presentation of waltzes and dances of the Viennese court.

• 📚 Various lectures and an intellectual quiz are also included in this year’s cultural program.
