• "Culture on the Beautiful Blue Danube": from June 25 to August 27, Gallery Square in Novi Sad will host a true cultural summer

• "Summer at Gallery Square" is an annual summer cultural festival organized by three art galleries — Pavle Beljanski Gallery, Matica Srpska Gallery and Raiko Mamužić Gallery — forming an important cultural hub of Novi Sad.

• All cultural events within the festival take place on Gallery Square and in the green garden-courtyards of the galleries. Gallery Square

• The festival theme changes every summer but is always connected to culture and the arts.

Festival theme 2026 — "Culture on the Beautiful Blue Danube"

• This is a series of free summer events dedicated to the cultural, artistic and natural riches of Austria. The program covers visual arts, music, performing arts and film, and introduces Austrian art through lectures, films and concerts.

• Cultural and educational events will take place throughout the summer on Thursdays at 9:00 PM (starting June 25). Admission to all events is free.

• The official opening will take place on June 25 at 9:00 PM and will begin with a performance by the music-theatre ensemble Synesthetic Project from Vienna, composed of musicians, dancers, animators and video operators.

• 🎞️ Sleeping with the Tiger — July 2 — about the challenging path in the art world of Austrian artist Maria Lassnig.

• 🎞️ Dreamers — August 6 — about the love and long correspondence between two outstanding Austrian poets of the 20th century, Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan.

• 🎵 As part of the concert program, the Dinamika Music string ensemble will perform in tandem with DJs on August 13, presenting classical music in a contemporary style.

• 🎵 Dance club Fiesta — August 27 with performances of waltzes and dances of the Viennese court.

• 📚 Various lectures and an intellectual quiz are also included in this year’s cultural program.
