Multimedia Installations Terra Ephemera at the Terra Center of Decorative and Applied Arts (Kikinda)
Description
On 16 May Europe celebrates the Night of Museums, and Terra Ephemera multimedia installations will appear in Terra Center for for Fine and Applied Arts in Kikinda.
Terra is a unique and the world's largest institution dedicated to contemporary terracotta sculpture. The Museum occupying 2,100 sq m in a former military manège houses more than 1,200 monumental contemporary terracotta sculptures. Every summer artists from the world over gather here for the International Sculpture Symposium that has been running for 40 years without interruption. The place itself is worth a visit.
**On the Night of Museums the media artists Aizek, Ivan Solod and Sasha Snova will bring works from the museum's permanent collection into a dialogue of digital projections and terracotta, the ephemeral and the tangiblespace for the site-specific intervention Terra Ephemera. The project is curated by the art collective Lightscape Ventures: Victor Lander and Sergey Ivanchuk. Details below and see you at Terra!
