They Are No More

HARTEFACT HOUSE

After more than four years of artistic research process, our new play "They Are No More" examines the question of responsibility, forgetting, and solidarity using a hybrid theatrical form. Director Andrej Nosov's authorial project is based on the drama of author Doruntina Başa. The play stars Mirjana Karanović, Svetozar Cvetković, and Alban Ukaj, with participation from Maja Salkić, Davor Sabo, Kemal Rizvanović, Matea Mavrak, Hana Zrno, Sanin Milavić, Faruk Hajdarević, Alen Konjicija, Natalia Dmitrieva, and Dino Hamidović. The play is produced in cooperation with Hartefakt (Serbia), the Sarajevo War Theatre SARTR (BiH), and My Balkans (USA, Serbia), in collaboration with La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club (USA), Ibsen Scope (Norway), and Allianz Foundation (Germany). The play is titled in English. Due to the abundance of sound content, the play is currently not accessible to people with hearing impairments. We are working to make the play accessible in the future.
