Description
FIVE-HOUR WORKSHOP ON WORKING WITH SPACE
One of the main rules of visual language is the mechanics of working with space. How we perceive an image is influenced by:
- camera position
- density of the scene
- light and shadow
- the number and arrangement of objects
At the workshop, Viktor will demonstrate less obvious tools for composing space — from a single image to an illustrated book and an animated film.
We will examine how space affects narrative, mood, and meaning, and try applying these tools ourselves.
No special artistic skills or experience required.
